The sky grew darker as night began its shift. Little tai taipanai began to walk home after a long day of play. He yawned as he thought about getting right into bed. The little taipanai smiled sleepily, oh how he just wanted to snuggle up next to his mother where he could feel safe and warm. But, his happy thoughts were interrupted when he heard a faint growl. Tai stopped in his tracks and looked around. He didn't see anything....
"h-hello?" he asked. No one answered him. He flicked out his tongue tasting the air. He didn't smell anything unusual and kept walking. Little did he know he was being watched. 
After a bit tai was almost home. He smiled as he saw his cave up ahead and started to run. That was when something pounced on him. Tai yelped and looked at what was on top of him, growling and snarling. Tai screamed in fear, it was a shadow wolf. One of the most dangerous and deadliest creatures alive. Tai continued to scream as he tried to get away. 
Nevera heard her son's screams and quickly went out to see what was going on. She gasped seeing a shadow wolf attacking her son and ran over hissing and baring her fangs. 
"get away from him!" she hissed and struck immediatly biting the wolf and injecting a small amount of venom enough to paralyze it in seconds. The wolf fell to the ground limp. Tai whimpered as his mother picked him up. 
"shhh tai its ok it's ok your safe now. I'm right here." 
"t-that was s-so scary...." tai hugged him mothers long neck for comfort and cried softly. 
"c'mon sweetheart let's get you inside." Nevera nuzzled him and carried him to the den. Tai cuddled in her arms trying to calm himself down but the young snake was still terrified out of his witts. He only hoped he would never run into another one of those creatures again
A story from Tai's past. This was when tai was still a snakling and before Nevera was general. I think I forgot to put this in Tai's bio but Nevera is his mother
